- MnDOT rest overnight framing: CMV operators subject to HOS may park continuously up to 10 hours at MnDOT safety rest areas / travel information centers with CMV-designed stalls (MnDOT rest-area policy; MN Statutes § 160.272). Other motorists generally up to 4 hours where posted. Prefer private chain lots for a planned 10-hour break. Follow posted signs and 511mn.org.
